Privacy Policy

This public website is informational. It does not host a user's private Hub database, mailbox content, calendar content, OAuth tokens, or smart-home data.

1. Overview

LaguerreHub is a personal, local-first software project designed to help users view and organize information such as email, calendars, reminders, notes and other user-authorized data in one private interface.

2. Google user data LaguerreHub may access

When a user chooses to connect a Google account, LaguerreHub may request read-only access to basic Google account identity, Gmail messages and message metadata, Google Calendar lists, and calendar events.

3. How Google user data is used

Google user data is used only to provide user-requested LaguerreHub functionality, such as displaying connected mail, identifying messages that may need attention, reading a selected message on demand, and showing calendar events in the user's schedule.

LaguerreHub does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell Google user data, and does not use connected mailbox or calendar content to build advertising profiles.

4. Storage and security

The private LaguerreHub application is designed to run on user-controlled systems. OAuth credentials used by the private application are encrypted before local persistence. Sensitive credentials are not intentionally exposed through the public website.

The public website at laguerrehub.com is separate from the private LaguerreHub application and does not receive Gmail or Google Calendar content.

5. Sharing

LaguerreHub does not sell or rent Google user data. Google user data is not shared with unrelated third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

6. Data retention and control

Users can disconnect a connected Google account from LaguerreHub and may also revoke LaguerreHub access from their Google Account permissions. Local records and backups remain under the user's control and may be retained according to the user's local Hub configuration and backup practices.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

LaguerreHub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as LaguerreHub evolves. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
